ABOUT ESTHER N SMITH
For the Lord has commanded us to go and spread His Word to all nations. I am here to tell you that we all have His imprint in our lives and His direction if we only will follow.
Esther became a believer in Jesus Christ as a little girl. While she often found herself seeking refuge in a church near her childhood home, it wasn’t until over twenty years later when she accepted Jesus as her Savior, Redeemer and Adonai of her life. This was the moment in which the LORD took His chisel to His clay of Esther, and began to carve out designs He had been molding all these years.

This new creation began to live her life not only as a believer of Jesus, but as His follower. During these next ten years, she began to learn of her newly adopted family, the body of Christ and began to grow in His Word. Accepting the call to Go, she began going on various mission trips with her church and began to serve in women’s ministry.

During her time at Immanuel Baptist Church in Marshall, TX, Esther served within the children’s ministry as an assistant for 2 and 3 year olds. She led a class with VBS, and was a leader in the Celebrate Recovery ministry.

It was during her time at Englewood Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, NC,where she began to be active within the women’s ministry. Here she would lead a breakout session for their annual Women’s conference and would share her testimony to their Life Groups. Esther continued to feel the LORD calling her closer to Him as he called her to go on missions to Durban South Africa and co-lead with the women’s sessions of the trip.

Esther continued to grow in her faith as she served with her local community and soon found herself in West Texas. It was during her move to West Texas where she continued to serve in the women’s ministry and more. She began a ministry of prayer by beginning a weekly morning prayer meeting for women, served alongside her husband with the Disciple Making Movement going out into their neighborhoods making disciples. She went on mission trips to Oshawa, Canada, and to the local prison serving alongside others for the ministry of One Day with God.

While this barely lends a glimpse into the brief past of her walk with Jesus, it does not tell of how Jesus always carried her through the traumas she experienced in her life into His beautiful healing.
It is because of this healing and the continual healing process and sanctification through Jesus, that Esther has been given a deep devotion to serve other women who are hurting and living with hidden shame, guilt and regret like she did for so many years.

Today, Esther continues to step out in faith by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all those she meets.
